After delaying dates from June due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the International Conference on Illustration and Animation Confia 2020 took place for the first time online on October 23rd and 24th.
I was happy and honoured to be one of the speakers presenting with a research paper written in collaboration with world renowned biologist and scientific illustrator Fernando Correia (LIC dBio UA, Portugal).
I spoke about digital techniques to work, improve, streamline, scale and share in scientific illustration with the paper called "Dragonflies and damselflies- vector or raster?" in which we shared some of the ideas behind our research.
